Access to sustainable salaries and steady jobs in the digital economy have been historically limited by socioeconomic conditions and geography. Trends like working from home, global collaboration, fluid work and family economy are changing not only the rules of employment, but also the composition of the workforce.

This talk will analyze the shifting scenery, the growth of horizontal work structure and how various organizations around the world are levelling the playing field for low income communities and marginalized youth in order to help them earn a decent living, and become contributing members of the digital economy.
